The IDPASC - Portugal doctoral programme brings together the main higher education institutions and research units in Portugal with a clear record of expertise in the field of Particle Physics, Astrophysics and Cosmology, comprising both research of excellence and successful doctoral programmes. The IDPASC-Portugal is an integrant part of the International PhD network IDPASC which also includes Universities from Spain, France, Italy and Slovenia, as well as Brazilian institutes (CBPF and SPRACE) and international research institutions (CERN and EGO). The students in the programme benefit from international scientific and institutional connections provided by the research centres, which enable them to access to the relevant data and discussion forums and to perform research work in international laboratories or within international collaborations. IST is a member of both the national and the international IDPASC networks and its associated research centres, CFTP, CENTRA, and LIP are actively engaged in the IDPASC activities. >>
