Tomorrow, March 16th at 11h00, the seminar "Subsea 7 Vessel Activities", will be presented by Nuno Salsa Ferreira
Venue: Room V1.08, Civil Building, IST - Alameda Campus
Nuno joined Subsea 7 in 2014 as Pipeline Design / Installation Analysis Engineer and started his career working on pipeline design where he develop a specific tool for pipeline design in which he developed is master thesis. Nuno worked on several projects for the Africa region, from Egypt, Nigeria or Ghana providing from detailed pipeline design (Pharaonic Petroleum Company Atoll Project, Egypt), installation analysis (Pharaonic Petroleum Company East Nile Delta Phase 3 and Atoll, Egypt) and installation engineering (Shell Forcados Pipeline Repair, Nigeria) / operations support (Tullow Oil EWR1, Ghana) where he has been assigned offshore for the operations follow-up.
Nuno Salsa Ferreira holds a MSc in Mechanical Engineering from IST since 2014 and a MSc in Petroleum Engineering also from IST since 2016. Nuno holds portuguese and brazilian citizenships.

Rodrigo Fernandes holds a master's and PhD in Environmental Engineering. He has participated in several research and development activities related to water pollution, dispersion modeling of oil and chemical spills, operational modeling systems and downstreaming services. Rodrigo is a key person in the development of the oil dispersion and chemical modules in the MOHID Modeling System. He is the author of more than 10 revised articles, 4 book chapters, and more than 20 articles in conferences. Currently he works on the Hydraulics and Hydrology department of Bentley Systems, a multinational company on software development.
