Detalhes: {pt=Surgindo no contexto da disciplina de Projecto Final em Arquitectura II, o projeto que aqui se apresenta tem o objectivo de reflectir sobre o tema da reabilitação, apresentando-a como um dos caminhos para a sustentabilidade. Consiste, por isso, na reabilitação de um edifício do início do século XX, projectado pelo Arquitecto António do Couto em 1916, que se encontra actualmente bastante desfigurado devido a várias intervenções sofridas ao longo do tempo. Pretende-se transformar este edifício, inicialmente concebido para comércio e habitação, num edifício de escritórios que albergará a empresa DNS Portugal. O desafio proposto visa adaptar este imóvel, localizado no centro da cidade de Lisboa, na rua Eça de Queiroz nº 29, à realidade de um edifício de escritórios do novo mundo digital, mantendo parte do património construído e pré-existências e, em simultâneo, maximizar a sua funcionalidade e sustentabilidade para albergar essas novas funções. Esta intervenção pretende devolver a coesão ao edifício. O saguão central, elemento chave, torna-se no núcleo do edifício, criando novas circulações em toda a sua envolvente, permitindo a introdução de novas soluções sustentáveis e a criação de uma nova dinâmica através da escadaria que se desenvolve no seu interior, reorganizando a distribuição dos vários elementos do programa ao longo dos 3 pisos do edifício. , en=This project was developed in the context of Final Project in Architecture II, aiming to think about the theme of rehabilitation and how it can be used as a tool to achieve sustainability. This work consists on the rehabilitation of an early twentieth century building, designed by the architect António do Couto in 1916. In the present days, the building is fairly disfigured due to various interventions suffered over the years. The purpose of this exercise is to transform this building, initially designed for commerce and housing, in order to become the new headquarters of DNS Portugal. This property, located in the center of Lisbon at Eça de Queiroz 29, will be facing the reality of a new digital world office building, maintaining part of the built heritage and pre-existences, and at the same time, improving its functionality and sustainability to accommodate the new function. This intervention also aims to restore cohesion to the building. The central atrium, which is a key element, becomes the core of the building, creating new circulations throughout its surroundings, allowing the introduction of new sustainable solutions and creating new dynamics through the staircase drawn inside of it, that reorganizes the distribution of the various spaces throughout the 3 floors of the building. }
