Workshop: results

25 janeiro 2018, 11:35 Ana Paiva

Dear students,

The workshop was a success thanks to all your hard work! The presentations were very good, and congratulations to all the students that managed to build and evaluate a social robotics scenario in such a short time.

We've created a "project" in Fenix, for you to submit your presentations (ppt) and your videos. Please, compress the files. Also, we would like to have your data (that you collected during the experiment).

In some cases, we will contact you directly to submit a paper with the work done, since some of the work and the results are really worth publishing!

Once again, congratulations and we hope you enjoyed the course!

Ana and Filipa.

Workshop on the 24th

15 janeiro 2018, 17:50 Ana Paiva

Dear students,

The workshop on the Social Robotics projects will be held on the 24th in the morning in Tagus Park, room 1.38, as advertised before. Everyone needs to be present, and the presentations to be done will be part of the evaluation of the project (together with the technical report and the paper that will be submitted on the 20th).

Each group should prepare a presentation of 12-15 minutes, including a video of the system working (with the users would be ideal). The results of the study and the statistical analysis need to be properly done and included in the paper.

We are all really looking forward to seeing your work!!!!

Ana and Filipa.

Project Delivery Instructions

29 dezembro 2017, 17:32 Filipa Isabel Nogueira Correia

Many students have been asking more details about the two project deliveries. In order to clarify those doubts:

- Until January 6th, you should submit the source code of your project and a technical report of the development phase;
- Until January 20th, you should submit the final report in a paper format, where you must describe the user study (motivation, hypothesis, statistical results). You may use as a template the IEEE conference format or any other similar in two columns. As an example of the aimed structure for the paper, check out this one.
