Grades for Lab 3

Dear students,

Some issues with the grades for Lab 3 were brought to my attention by several students. Upon checking what happened, I realized that there was a mistake when I pasted the grades to Excel. In short, the (lab) grades were pasted with a row-offset of one, i.e., the lab grade of group N was assigned to group N + 1.

I have corrected this mistake and updated the grades accordingly. Please ignore the grades previously published for Lab 3.

I apologize for this situation.

Dear students,

Today I'll be giving an invited lecture in Alameda from 9h30 to 11h00, so I won't be in Tagus at my regular office time. Therefore, exceptionally today, office time will be from 11h30 to 13h00.

Test grades are out

Dear students,

The grades for the first test are out and can be found in the Section "Marks". If you want to check your test grading, drop by either mine or Prof. Sardinha's office time next week.

Lab and HW 4

Dear students,

As I mentioned in class, Homework 4 is out since yesterday. It is the first HW on the learning part of the course and is due next week, as planned. You can find it in the usual place.

The reason for this announcement is that students usually find the homeworks and labs for the second part of the course (n. 4 and 5) significantly harder than those on the first part. Therefore, we strongly encourage you to start working on the HW -- don't wait until your lab session before looking at it.
