I will have to attend a scholarship program at Gulbenkian today (Programa Novos Talentos em Inteligência Artificial). Due to this reason there is no theoretical lesson today.

Nevertheless, the laboratory class will take place at the regular time. It's very important for all to attend so that we look at any problems you might have with the 3rd Project.

There was also a question yesterday about the Expand method in the BiasedPlayout. I've been looking at it, and you don't really need to implement this method.

In my initial implementation of BiasedPlayout I was using this method inside the playout to generate child nodes, but then I stopped using it because I'm no longer generating all child nodes (in the playout). 

The 3rd Project deadline was postponed one week, to Monday, December 3rd.

Next week, classes will resume normaly.

while I'm feeling better, I'm not 100% ok, so I will not be able to give the laboratory classes today in Alameda.

I'm still waiting for a reply from the MEIC coordination. I will let you know about the project postponement as soon as possible.

I've got a recommendation from the doctor to stay home today while I recover. So today there won't be any classes (both theoretical and laboratorial).

Given that this might have an impact in the project due next week, I've asked the MEIC coordinator for a 1-week postponement of the deadline. This option hasn't been decided yet, since we need to properly check with the student's representatives if this might cause a problem with any other project. We will have a decision by tomorrow, but please do not assume yet that the project is going to be postponed.

Continue working on the project, and use the extra time from theoretical classes to work on it. If the project is not postponed I will give a extraordinary laboratory this Friday for Tagus students to help compensate the lost laboratory today.

Unfortunately I'm experiencing severe back pains and I cannot stand for long periods of time.

I'll have to go see a MD, due to this there is no theoretical class today (tuesday, 20th of November)
