Again, a reminder: next Monday, Nov. 30, we will have an invited lecture on Visualization in Business Intelligence by Eng. Pedro Martins, from Webdetails/Pentaho. I expect you there. As a note of practical interest, do remember that some of what will be said there may end up appearing in the final quiz...

The 30th of November we will have an invited lecture by Eng. Pedro Martins, Head of Services in Portugal of WebDetails - Pentaho. He is going to present how InfoVis is used in the real world, in the domain of Business Intelligence and Business Analytics, by presenting real world case studies.
This is an unique chance to see InfoVis "in the wild", as a tool for decision and analysis, and complement your learning with information you're supposed to know but cannot find in books, papers or slides. See you there!
