Below is the information regarding the logistics for Lectures, Labs, and Office Hours of the Software Security Course.

Lectures

- Lectures will take place remotely over Zoom. The link will be made available in Section "Lectures".
- There will be two different lectures per campus per week (Mo and Tu for Alameda, and Th and Fr for Tagus). You can freely attend those you want although we strongly recommend that you always attend those of the same campus as they may not be fully synchronized.
- According to IST rules, all lectures will start 10 minutes after the scheduled start time, and will end at the scheduled end time.

Labs

- Due to the reduced capacity of the rooms, Labs will take place on-site on a mixed regime, i.e., each shift is split into groups A and B that alternate their physical presence in class according to the IST rules.
- Although half of the class participants will be remotely, the professor will devote his attention both to the students physically in-class and to those attending remotely. For this, it is very important that you attend the lab you registered in (despite being remotely).
- Although advised, it is not mandatory for students to physically attend the lab classes. You can do it remotely even in your campus-week.
- Physical attendance of the labs must comply with the IST rules (wear a mask, keep social distance, etc).
- More information regarding remote participation in labs will be made available soon.

Office Hours
- Office hours will by default take place over Zoom. Special sessions may be defined according to students' needs and professors' availability.

Groups
- Students will have to form groups of 2 or 3 elements to develop their projects. Although strongly advised that they share the same time slot (no matter A or B) as it simplifies discussions, participation, etc, they are free to form groups with any registered student.
- More information about group formation will be posted soon.
