December 17th the theoretical class will be given by an invited lecture by Matthijs Spaan, on POMDP (Partially Observable Markov Decision Processes), addressing the theoretical aspects of POMDP, as well as their applications in robotics.

Matthijs Spaan has defended his PhD thesis on the subject of POMDP and their application to autonomous robots. He is now a full-time researcher at ISR/IST.
