Written Exam - First Date

Dear students,


The written exam for the Sensors and Actuators course will be on Thursday, 25th of June at 18:30.
You log in with your IST credentials.
You will have 70 minutes two answer 50 multiple choice questions.
In 2 of those question you have to do some calculations.
Wrong answers are not penalized.You have to choose 1 of 4 choices.
You can go back on the questions of the exam.
This is a closed book exam. 
MOST IMPORTANT: You can not have any other window or application open in you computer. Just one web browser window with the online quiz.
The questions are similar to those in the course textbook at the end of each chapter. 
All chapters are going to be covered in the exam.
At the same time there will be a Zoom session that you must attend with your camera turned on: https://videoconf-colibri.zoom.us/j/99800778529

If you have any questions during your preparation for the exam you can attend a Zoom class on the same day (June 25th) at 9:30.

Nova forma de avaliação contínua

Caros alunos,


Criei uma nova forma de avaliação no laboratório:
Para além to trabalho de laboratório efectuado e do relatório formal (sobre esse trabalho) há agora "Mini-relatórios Inventados".
Portanto, nas aulas de laboratório futuras (que não vão ter!), têm que preencher na mesma o mini-relatório para cada projecto.
Devem descrever os circuitos "montados", apresentar medidas imaginárias (ou copiadas dos mini-relatórios dos vossos colegas que fizeram de facto o trabalho nas primeiras semanas de aula) e finalmente retirar as conclusões pertinentes de acordo com o formulário do mini-relatório fornecido.
Esse mini-relatório inventado deve ser enviado por mim, por email(franciscoaalegria@gmail.com) até ao fim do dia em que estava programado a realização do trabalho de laboratório.


Evaluation Change

Dear students,
I changed my mind about theoretical class evaluation.It is too difficult to grade 40 answers in each class.The theoretical part evaluation is going to go back to how it was in the beginning: you have a written exam in the end of the semester.

Grading

The grade in the laboratory will consist only in the grade you got for the first project and the grade you get in the formal report (50% each).

The grade in the theoretical class will be the average of the grades you get in each question (except the worst 3).
You can choose to do the written exam in the end of the semester to improve the theoretical part of the grade.
