By request of many students from MEIC-A, the office hours for Prof. Bruno Martins in IST Alameda have been changed from Fridays to Mondays (from 17h00 to 18h15). This change takes effect by next week (i.e., by 30 October 2017).

A new lab class schedule has been created in Alameda, and students can now register for attending it.
This lab class will take place at the same time as the one that existed previously, and will be instructed by Prof. João Monteiro.
However, by next week (i.e., September the 29th, the class corresponding to an introduction to Python), this second lab schedule class will still not be in operation. João Monteiro will only be with us starting from the week of October the 2nd.
Students wanting to attend the introductory lecture on Python will need to go the single lab that is planned for October the 29th, at room V1.08, even if they have registered for attendance in the other lab class schedule.

A primeira aula teórica de "Processamento e Recuperação de Informação" terá lugar na próxima quinta-feira dia 21 de Setembro.
Durante a primeira aula, será introduzido o programa e o método de avaliação da disciplina.
As aulas de laboratório apenas terão início na semana seguinte.
As inscrições para as aulas de laboratório terão lugar após a primeira aula teórica da disciplina. As mesmas serão realizadas em grupos de 3 elementos, e estes grupos serão também usados para o desenvolvimento dos projectos práticos da disciplina.
