The complexity of transcription factor (TF) interplay and cross-talk in the control of gene and genomic expression. The case-study of the Saccharomyces ceresiviae PDR network, highlighting the action of specific TFs individually, as homo- and heterodimers and as co-existing partners in the promoter region of their targets.
