Discrete and continuous models of 1D problems in mechanics. Direct stiffness method to obtain a finite element matrix of discrete models: axial spring, torsional spring, electric circuit, viscous flow in circular pipes (z=0). Deduction of differential equations, boundary conditions and their analytical solutions for continuous systems (Strong formulation) : classic bar in tension, classic rod in torsion, cable (catenary), Euler-Bernoulli beam, thermal conduction and convection (variable change and solutions in theta=Troom-T).
