Dear students,

A lecture will take place Wednesday 3rd 9h30-11h for solving exercises.  In the next lecture we will schedule a new one for solving exercises too.

Simio and Cell Presentations

Dear students,
The duration for each presentation is 15mn, say 13-15 ppt slides. The average rate will be 4 presentations/hour.  
Projects are presented in the lab screen. A laptop will be available for downloading the presentations or other project parts. The use of your own laptops is discouraged. 
Unless exceptional and well justified situations, all members should speak in its oral presentation. English is the highly recommended language for the presentation. Slides are mandatory written in English. Use the standard IST ppt presentation template (http://tecnico.ulisboa.pt/pt/media/media-kit/). 
The projector supports 16/9 but you better use 4/3 to avoid surprises.
There will probably be no time for making all the presentations on Monday 25. A doodle was created http://doodle.com/ambku3vf5eh5fegq to make you register for the timeslot at your convenience. A postponed presentation does not extend the deadline for submitting the project.

Thursday 21st 14h30-16h room V1.32.

Dear students,

Hereby I confirm what we have discussed. Exceptionally, the Wednesday 20th 9h30-11h lecture is replaced by an extra lecture Thursday 21st 14h30-16h in room V1.32.

weekly project tracking

Dear students, in particular to those that are making SIMIO projects

Be prepared for a weekly meeting about your projects. I expect that groups created will upload, in each projects area, versions of your reports from the draft ones to the final report.

As during the classes, the questions till now were somewhat limited, attendance hours were created Wednesday 11h-12h and 14h-15h30 to meet with you weekly. Internal notes of the project evolution will be taken in to account on the final project evaluation.
