Mini-test 2 subjects

The subjects for mini-test 2 are: 

1) Barcodes, UPC and its relation with EAN-13, read and generate an EAN-13 barcode (read/draw individual digits and calculate the check digit), GTIN-13 (format and meaning), general characteristics of 2D codes, namely DataMatrix an QR code. Main characteristics of Code 128. Advantages/disadvantages of barcodes. Slides: from AI_07a_... to AI_07e_... (AI_07f_... is only informative).

2) RFID: types of tags, interaction reader-tag, main characteristics of tags accordingly with their frequency (LF, HF and UHF), understand privacy issues. EPC main characteristics and capabilities, emphasis on SGTIN. Memory organization of Gen 2 RFID tags, main features, Filter Value, tag collision problem, reader collision problem. Understand the example presented in AI_08c_... Slides: AI_08a_... to AI_08c_...

The subjects for mini-test 1 are: technology X10 (AI_04_X10.pdf and AI_04b_X10_Modules.pdf) and the DomoBus system specification language (AI_05_DomoBus.pdf, DomoBus_System_Specification_v20c.pdf and AI_05b_DomoBus_Specification_Example.pdf <--- )

It is confirmed. The mini-tests will take place on March 22, April 5 and May 3, at 12:30, in classroom "C01" in Central Pavilion.

Due to logistical reasons related to the availability of an adequate room for the mini-tests, the first mini-test scheduled for March 19 should have to be postponed to Friday, March 22. Still waiting for a confirmation. If positive, all mini-tests will take place on Friday, from 12:30 to 14:00, on the following dates: March 22, April 5 and May 3.
