Detalhes: {pt=Num mundo globalizado, é muito importante que as empresas satisfaçam, as necessidades e requisitos dos seus clientes. É extremamente importante que a estrutura das empresas permita disponibilizar os produtos no local certo, à hora certa, em quantidades certas e com um nível mínimo de qualidade exigido. Para tal, as empresas têm de desenvolver, uma melhor gestão da logística, em particular na distribuição, com o objectivo de reduzir custos e maximizar o grau de satisfação dos seus clientes. É neste contexto que surge o caso em estudo da Nestlé Portugal, multinacional líder de mercado no sector da alimentação humana e animal. A Nestlé tem apresentado algumas ineficiências a nível de distribuição de produtos alimentares e, por isso, pretende desenvolver e procurar soluções para optimizar o seu sistema de distribuição com o objectivo de reduzir custos e tendo sempre patente, uma preocupação com o ambiente. O presente projecto, pretende apresentar uma solução alternativa ao sistema de distribuição actual da Nestlé. O objectivo principal da presente dissertação consiste no desenvolvimento de um plano de distribuição e na avaliação do impacto deste, a nível de custos, para sustentar a eventual adesão a este mesmo plano pelos responsáveis da Nestlé. , en=In a globalized world, companies have to make a greater effort to satisfy their increasingly demanding customers? needs and requirements. To achieve those requirements the company organizational structure should be able to deliver every product in the right place, at the right time, in the required quantities, while assuring the adequate quality level. In this sense, it is essential that companies operate with an efficient logistics management, particularly on distribution, in order to reduce costs and satisfy their clients in the most appropriate way. The Nestle Portugal case study has been developed under those premises. Nestlé, is a multinational company, leader in the human and animal nutrition markets. Presently, the company appears to show some inefficiencies regarding the distribution, in particular, of products for human nutrition and it is not performing up to the company's targets and standards. For these reasons, the company wants to find and develop solutions and alternatives to optimize its distribution system, particularly the transportation area, aiming to reduce its operating costs. This dissertation was developed within that defined scope, with the objective to reach a solution that would improve Nestlé Portugal's present human nutrition channel distribution system. The main objective of this dissertation is to develop of a distribution plan and to assess its impact in the company's operating costs, so that the Nestlé?s senior executives can perceive its advantages and eventually adhere to our recommendations. }
