Last problem set and exam.

I have put up the last problem set due Tuesday June 7. As we discussed in class, the plan is to have the exam that day at 2pm. It will be a 3 hour written exam, you can bring your notes, books, etc. I have put up a practice exam in a new section called "Exams".

Problem set 6 and long break

I changed the due date of the 6th problem set to Monday May 9th.

As we agreed we will not meet until Thursday May 5th when we will have a special class at 6pm in room P2. We will then continue as scheduled on Friday and we will arrange for an extra class towards the end of the semester.

Changes to the second problem set

I have added some hints and made minor alterations to the second problem set. I also changed the due date to Monday March 14.

Rooms set, Summaries, Office hours

On the section to the left entitled "Timesheet" you can find the schedule and the rooms where the course will be held.

Room Q4.1 ( This has changed to Mondays 11am same room) is on the 4th floor of the south (i.e. closest) giant glass cube.

Room V1.14 (Fri 11am) is on the first floor of the Civil Engineering building (that is the building on the northwest corner of campus - i.e. immediately to the left when you come up the western entrance (the stairs facing Gulbenkian)).

There is also a section called Summaries which contains lecture summaries. I will keep it updated and try to indicate where in the bibliography you can read about what was covered in the lecture.

I have also set an office hour: Monday 2-3pm. You are welcome to come talk to me anytime though. Just send me an email to make an appointment.
