Objectives

The courses provide advanced training in plasma science and engineering, leading the students to the frontiers of knowledge in the most important topics of the scientific area of Plasma Physics, Nuclear Fusion and Lasers. For each topic, the students are exposed to representative simulation methodologies in plasma physics (including some of the fundamentals of the algorithms and numerics), using simulation tools to explore some of the concepts presented in the lectures.

Short written report + oral presentation (2x25%)
