Pergunta: How do I install GNS3?

Resposta:

If you wish to install GNS3 in your PC with Windows or Mac OSX, you should download the all-in-one installation executable from:
https://github.com/GNS3/gns3-gui/releases
The version installed in the lab is v2.0.3. Installing a alfa or beta (pre-release) version of GNS3 is not recommended.
You may wish to install Wireshark separately, since the GNS3 all-in-one usually has a slightly outdated Wireshark version. You do not need to install Solarwinds Response, nor WinPcap (that is installed with Wireshark). You do not need to install the Virtual Machine (if you do, you have to add an IOS image to the VM, so that you can use it).
After installing GNS3, you should start it and configure it with a Cisco IOS image. When run for the first time, GNS3 will guide you through this process.
In the GNS3 "Setup Wizard", in the "Server" screen, choose "Run only legacy IOS on my computer" as you will be only running Cisco IOS images and otherwise you would have to install the Virtual Machine that is very heavy. Select option "Don't show this again" and press "Next".
Then, in the "Local server configuration" screen, select 127.0.0.1 on "Host binding" and press "Next".
Then, in the "New appliance template" screen, use the default option of "Add an IOS router using a real IOS image (supported by Dynamips)".
Browse for the IOS image file downloaded from the course webpage and copy it to the default image folder. Use the default configuration for the different parameters, by just pressing "Next" 4 times.
In the Idle-PC screen, click the "Ilde-PC Finder" button and wait about 1 minute for the result. The Idle-PC value for the IOS image provided is 0x60a68e70. This Idle-PC configuration is very important so that the virtual machine engine can determine when the emulated router CPU is idle and can sleep, so that the host CPU does not have its CPU usage stuck to 100% while running simulations. The idle PC value is generally correctly saved for all routers of the same type, so this only has to be done once after a GNS3 installation.
Click "Finish" to conclude the configuration and you can start your network project!
After the first run, the configuration can be done by choosing GNS3 option Edit-Preferences-Dynamips-IOS routers. Then click button "New", "New Image" and proceed with the above steps of selecting and configuring the IOS image.

For GNS3 installation on Linux, follow the instructions from:
