Distance operating model that will be used in the PA V 2019/2020 (2nd semester) - Covid'19

Course unit: Design Studio PA V

1º - The availability of support and contact with the students of each shift will be maintained, always through digital means (videoconference or other) in the periods and hours defined in the school calendar for the current semester. Students will receive from the teacher of the shift where are registered the Web Link to connect to no physical-classroom sessions;

2nd - The same solution is maintained for clarifying doubts with students usually used in classes (example: 15 to 30 minutes period for discussion with each group of the work in progress) of contact to talk with each group of students about their work;

3rd - There will be an adjustment in the initial delivery schedule to be determined in each shift;

4th - All deliveries that occur during the closing period of the IST will be adopted the digital means of delivery of the parts of the work and/or the visualization through screen sharing during the non-face-to-face teaching sessions (sending images of the physical models, panels or others);

5th - Elaboration of written summaries to communicate the evolution of the work (ex: evolution report, where collaboratively the group is encouraged to synthesize its progress - self-assessment);

6th - If the suspension of the face-to-face classes continues after the period in force, the evaluation model to be carried out in a joint (digital) session of the whole course (3 shifts) will be defined, where a presentation and exchange of experiences between students in an environment of student comparative assessment;

7th - By the teachers of each shift, a set of readings or complementary researches will be defined to be launched weekly to each group according to the theme of the work, so that it starts, or develops, the model of study and autonomous work.
