Note: The lab classes dedicated to the first lab assignment will be postponed by one week. Next week's practical classes will be dedicated to handwritten pipelining exercises.

Practical classes start next week.

The exercises for the 1st practical class are now available in section "Support Material". The students are urged to try to solve these problems before the class, it's the best way to understand what your difficulties are and to be critical about the solution (if you just sit and watch someone else solving the problems, everything looks easy...).

The current list of registered lab groups can be found in section "Lab groups" of the course web site. Please check if your group is correctly registered and report any issues to the faculty as soon as possible.

Welcome to Computer Organization & Architectures for Embedded Computing!

First, note that there two courses will take place together. All info on these pages applies to both (though AEC students need to use AEC's page to register for the lab - that where you appear!).

I've presented this information in class, but let me post it here so it's clear to everyone:

• each lab shift will function with 9 groups of 3 students.

• enrollment through Fenix, according to the following schedule:

Tuesday, 24th, 8h:complete groups

Wednesday, 25th, 9h: groups with two or more elements

Thursday, 26th, 9h:no restrictions

• you are free to choose the lab shift, as long as there are slots available.

• in the end, we will perform group compacting in each shift.

• we will consider lab grades from previous years.

• lab/practical classes will only start on the 3rd week of classes.
