Here you already have your protocol for computational class nr 1 that will take place next week. As you will see we will make of a software which is called CLC Genomics Workbench, this software can be used as a trial version to produce your written reports (but note that there is a 14-day limit for use). You can obtain the software just by googling this name.
In the first part of the practical class we will see the results from my laptop (and that is because i want to discuss a number of technical details from the results) while in the second part of the class you will be working already on your written report solving the posed questions. In case you want to move ahead with the installation of the software, along with working in your report you are welcome. I can clarify whatever questions you might have both in class and via email. All the files needed to complete the tasks are also available.

PS: Although the document mentions 2 weeks to deliver the report, in this quarterly teaching mode the deadline is of only 1 week. Please take this into consideration.
