Due to some misinterpretation of question 1.1 in the Chemistry test I have decided to correct the marks of this exercise (only of this one) to all students thst presented this problem. A second version of the Chemistry Test Marks is posted in Fenix section Lectures PPTs/Chemistry under "Marks of Chemistry Test_v2"

The marks of the chemistry test are posted in Fenix section Lectures PPTs/Chemistry under "Marks of Chemistry Test". If you have any questions we can talk about it next monday, 30 of November between 16:00 and 18:00.

Final Instructions for the Chemistry test
At IST
Test starts at 18h and lasts 1h30m on the 3rd of November 2020 (Lisbon time), in Room PA1 (Level -1 of Mathematics Pavilion). Students will receive the test in a piece of paper.
Write your student number and name on the first page of your answers.
You can ask questions to the teachers present in the room. All students can also use two sheets of paper with notes from classes (or one piece written both sides).
At the end you will need to scan your test into a PDF format using a mobile phone app and send it by e-mail to

If you decide not to submit the test you are required to send an e-mail with your number and name saying you decided not to submit the test.
Students will have an extra 15 minutes to upload the test.
At Home
Test starts at 18h and lasts 1h30m on the 3rd of November 2020 (Lisbon time). You will receive the text by e-mail (using the e-mail you have in the Fenix page), but it will also be available simultaneously in the Fenix page, Section “Lectures PPT/Chemistry/Chemistry Test 2020”.
Write your student number and name on the first page of your answers.
Students at home will have to use Zoom, turning both camera and sound on, placing the computer laterally and not in front of them, so they can be seen working. Use a calculator for numerical solutions. You can ask questions by Zoom.

We recommend that students they are not used to scan using mobile phone apps and send the digitalization as PDF by e-mail test their abilities scanning documents and sending their PDFs to their own mail address.
IMPORTANT: We did not get answers from 2 students (André Vasconcelos e Marta Rodrigues Vitor) so, as previously announced, we will consider they will do the test at IST. We also did not get personal confirmation from Pathias Lubinga that he would do the test from home (as he told one of his colleges to inform us), but we will still send him the test by e-mail.
