The exams of Biomolecular Engineering will use the Google Classroom platform. In order to be able to use it you should be registered by using the IST credentials. Please go to https://selfservice.dsi.tecnico.ulisboa.pt and activate the GSuite service (username and password to access Fénix). Additionally, for the exam you also should join a Zoom session with your camera turned on.

re-re-scheduling classes

Due to new procedures to fight against coronavirus outbreak, the contingency plan for Biomolecular Engineering classes is now extend until the end of Easter holidays. The alterations are described below but please see the update file “EB contingency course introduction 2019-20.pdf” available at Fénix (https://fenix.tecnico.ulisboa.pt/disciplinas/EBio51113264/2019-2020/2-semestre/classes) to check for the current scheduled plan with previous and new alterations:

- The invited seminars on March 23rd, March 30th and April 2nd are postponed to April 14th, April 13th and April 30th (15.30-16.30h) respectively.


- The theoretical classes on March 24th, March 30th and March 31st will be live on line (11-12.30h, 9.30-11h and 11-12.30h respectively). More details for your connection to live on line platform (Colibri/Zoom) will be sent as soon as possible.

- The flash presentations from March 24th will be postponed to April 13th as described in my last email but those presentations should be delivered as a video, which will be available for all the other students of this course. Then all of you might send me one question by email regarding the presentation and the first 2 or 3 questions will be communicated to the presenter colleague to respond.

- The laboratory work #3 and #4 sessions will probably occur but with all students (both shifts) in each session. If this alteration is not suited for you an alternative will be found later.

However, depending on evolution of the current scenario some other rearrangements may be defined (again).

re-scheduling classes

Following the instructions from the Rector of Universidade de Lisboa and the President of Instituto Superior Técnico, all the classes at IST will be cancelled until 27th of March. In order to guarantee the continuity of teaching activities, as normal as possible, the following plan for Biomolecular Engineering will be implemented:


-The classes from the “Bioengineering week” were already suppressed. So, no action is needed.
-The invited seminar on March 23rd is postponed to March 31th.
-The theoretical class on March 24th will be live on line (11-12.30 am). More details will be sent as soon as possible.
-The flash presentations from March 24th will be postponed to April 13th.
-The laboratory classes (work #2) are postponed to April 16th (1st shift) and April 23rd (2nd shift). Possibly the lab work #3 and #4 will be fused in just one session.


However, depending on evolution of the current scenario some other rearrangements may be defined.
