Final Grade =
10% Public Presentation (draft) +
10% Negative feedback on one of your colleagues’ presentation draft +
20% Debate participation +
25% Scientific Document in IEEE format +
35% Public Presentation (final).
• Students must propose topic of Scientific Document (something done in another class, some work done on an internship or on an extra-curricular work), by September 24th.
• Students must propose subject of presentation by October 1st.
• First draft of the Scientific Document (to be done in IEEE format) outline, due by October 8th.
• Public Presentation (draft version) on October 22nd.
• Also on October 22nd, one colleague will give you negative public feedback on your presentation (he will be graded)
• Public debate on November 19th. One fracturing subject with two teams arguing each side. Individual grade. Subject to be decided (voted) by October 22nd from a pool of student and professor submitted topics (each student/professor submits one topic). Team allocation will be randomly selected on the same day.
• Final Version of the Scientific Document due by November 26th.
• Public Presentation (final) on December 10th.
• Students must participate in all evaluation items. Classes with public sessions must be attended by all students.
