Students,
Final course grades are now available. The theoretical component corresponds to 70% of the final grade while the lab component corresponds to 30%. The lab grade was obtained according to the following: 85% of the average grade TP1+TP2+TP3_TP4 and 15% of TP5.

As i have told you we will have a set of seminars which will be conducted by different researchers in which topics of interest will be developed. Attendance to these seminars is mandatory to all students. The seminars will take place on:
Dec 4th - Prof Paula Duque from IGC, to talk about Molecular Biology and Genetic Engineering in Plant model systems
Dec 11th - Prof Alexandra Fernandes from UNL to talk about Diagnostics made on the basis of molecular biology
Dec15th - Prof Sandra Tenreiro, from IMM to speak about the utilization yeast model for the study of neurological diseases; Joana Ricardo, PhD student at IST
Dec18th - Tânia Sousa, PhD student at IST.

Practical class number five for students attending shifts 6A or 6B will begin at 9am instead of 8 am. The end of the class is scheduled for 11 am.
