Visit District Heating and Cooling Facility - ClimaEspaço - Engie - Dec 6th

Following the seminar of Eng. João Castanheira and the interest of some students a visit to the district heat and cooling plant was organized (it will substitute one of our classes).

 

When? Wednesday, 6th December 2019, 14:00-16:00

Where? The facility is located in Parque das Nações (Expo), Rua do Nilo, 1990-402 Moscavide (close to BMW).

You can easily reach the facility by Metro (Oriente or Moscavide in the red line) and with 20 minutes walking.

1st Test

The 1st test will take place in room QA02.1 (South Tower, Floor -2) at 16h, October 31st.



Extra class on Monday

An extra class will take place on Monday, 28 October, in room V1.10, from 9:30 am to 11:00 am. The subject will be thermal energy storage with Phase Change Materials.

Dear students:
there are two tests scheduled for this course. These will take place October 31 and December 5. The tests  will take place during the regular class schedule.
There will be an extra date, in January, that will be defined soon. In January you may retake the 1st test, the 2nd or both.
