With a Degree in Architecture, MSc. in Construction and Rehabilitation and PhD in Civil Engineering, nowadays, Clara Pereira is a Post-Doc researcher at the research unit CERIS (Civil Engineering Research and Innovation for Sustainability) of Instituto Superior Técnico, University of Lisbon. Clara’s research is within the broad field of Construction. Specifically, the main research topics are associated with building pathology and inspection, diagnosis and repair systems of elements in the building envelope, durability and maintenance of current buildings, and, more recently, how these subjects relate to sustainable development.

Clara has lectured some classes (as a teaching assistant) of the Master in Civil Engineering (Construction Pathology and Rehabilitation) and Doctoral Programme in Civil Engineering (Advanced Topics in Construction), both at Instituto Superior Técnico, University of Lisbon.
