CETME

From 1974 to 2007 his research activities on electrical engineering subjects were conducted under the sponsorship of the CETME - Centro de Electrotecnia Teórica e Medidas Eléctricas of the Instituto Superior Técnico (Technical University of Lisbon).

There, not only he prepared his doctoral thesis, but also devoted his time and effort to research activities focused on multiconductor transmission-line structures, as well as on applied optics. As a result, he published 62 papers in peer-reviewed journals, and 30 conference papers.
