The final grade is composed of two components:

Final exam / Two tests: 80% of final grade.

Research work: 20% of final grade.

 

Minimum score of each test is 7 out of 20. Test scores must sum at least 16 out of 20.

Minimum exam score is 8 out of 20.

Research work is not mandatory. There is no minimum score required for this component. The score obtained in the research work is always used to compute the final grade, regardless of its value. For instance, with no work at all, the maximum attainable course grade is 16.

 

Additional details:

- The 2^nd test is simultaneous with the first exam.

- The student chooses assessment by tests if he delivers both tests.

- Improvement of scores is possible at 2^nd exam date. The best score will be selected.

    - Global improvement of the component tests/exam is possible by completing the 2^nd exam.

    - Partial test improvement is also possible provided the minimum conditions were obtained for tests.
