21 junho 2020, 18:24 Susana Isabel Pinheiro Cardoso de Freitas

The evaluation of the Unit: Micro and Nanofabrication Techniques (TMN), second semestre 2019/2020 will be done ONLY REMOTELLY, using a combination between Fenix and Zoom online platforms.

Registration in the exam is required, using Fenix platform, from the 22June until the 30 June.

The first evaluation (1 July 2020, 15:00-17:00) will start 15 minutes before (14:45) so to prepare the identification and clarify any last minute question.

During the exam, we will share a Zoom session – the link will be provided in Fenix 2 hours before the evaluation (1 july at 13:00)

During the online evaluation, NO bibliography consultation is allowed.

The exam will be presented at 15:00, in Fenix - link provided and also shared in the Zoom screen.

The exam grade will contribute with 40% to the final grade. The minimum grade is 8.5 points(out of 20).

All indications will be provided in real time by the professor.

Each student should answer the questions in white papers, using clean hand writing with a black/blue pen.

Each sheet of paper should be clearly identified: Student_Name, Student_number, question number, page number

All the answer pages should be digitalized into PDF file to be uploaded in Fenix => Projects section.

NOTE THAT ONLY 1 FILE IS ACCEPTED BY THE FENIX SYSTEM, SO YOU WILL NEED TO MERGE THE PAGES INTO A SINGLE DOCUMENT.

The final, merged document should preferably have the identification “AAAAA_BBBBB_XX.pdf”, where AAAAA=student name, BBBBB=student number and XX=number of pages.

Any scanner or digital camera can be used (eg. OfficeLens or CamScanner).

The file should have good quality for visual quality.

It is not accepted multiple file upload using ZIP, RAR or other.

Notice the file size should not exceed 1-2 MB, to minimize the upload time in Fenix.

At the end of the exam, the students will be informed that the time is finished, and there is 15 minutes to carry out digitalization and submission actions.

If a student has no resources for the remote evaluation (wireless access, computer, digitalization hardware or software), these can be requested to Tecnico, and have the exam in Tecnico campus, where all these resources will be provided.

If that is the case, please ask support (72h before the exam) by sending an e-mail to cp@tecnico.ulisboa.pt with cc to your professor (susana.freitas@tecnico.ulisboa.pt).

These rules and procedure will be available in Fenix, in section “Remote Exam - combined Zoom and Fenix”

Let me know if there are further suggestions or questions.
