The series of invited lectures that is planned for this edition of the TI course will start on November the 12th, 2015. The planed schedule for these lectures is as follows:

  • 18/11 - 11h00 - Room 3.1.06 @ FCUL - Prof. Francisco Melo (IST) - Artificial Intelligence
  • 26/11 - 17h00 - Room 6.3.38 @ FCUL - Prof. Vasco Vasconcelos (FCUL) - Programming Methodology and Technology
  • 03/12 - 17h00 - Room 6.3.38 @ FCUL - Prof. Luis Veiga (IST) - Architecture and Operating Systems
  • 10/12 - 15h00 - Room 6.3.38 @ FCUL - Prof. Pavel Calado (IST) - Information Systems, Data Management and Information Retrieval
For each of these lectures, a "short quiz" will be published online. The materials used in each of these presentations will be published online, and students will have one week send their answers to these questions. This evaluation component corresponds to 20% of the final grade.
