Hands-on challenge: Stem cell-based therapies

Hands-on challenge.

Students (groups of 5, 5 groups) have been asked to develop a process for a novel stem cell therapy based on ex-vivo expansion cell culture. Initial data and some key clinical and marketing information for an allogeneic therapy will be provided. Students compared the costs of using a static culture vs. bioreactors to produce a commercial supply of this cell therapy in a GMP facility.
