There are 6 lab sessions. Each lab grade consists of two parts: a presential component (50%) and a quiz component (50%). The lab grade used in the final calculation is the average of the best 5 out of the 6 lab grades.

Exams

There are two exams. Only the best exam grade is considered for the final grade.

Passing Conditions

To pass the course, both of the following conditions must be met:
The best exam grade must be greater than or equal to 8
The average of the best 5 lab grades must be greater than or equal to 10

Final Grade Formula

If both conditions are satisfied:
Final Grade = 0.5 × (Average of Best 5 Lab Grades) + 0.5 × (Best Exam Grade)
If either condition is not met:
Final Grade = Fail (due to exam grade below 8 or lab average below 10)
