Simulation project work – group creation and registration

Work groups for the simulation project work should be registered in Fenix as soon as possible. Registration can only be made for groups of exactly 4 students, and all 4 must be identified for work group creation in Fenix. A different number of students can be accepted in exceptional cases, duly justified: send an e-mail with this request, with convincing arguments and identifying the students (number and name), and we will create that group in Fenix.

Students facing difficulties in forming a complete work group (with 4 elements) should send me an e-mail (roliv@tecnico.ulisboa.pt) and we will do our best to put you in contact with other students in similar circumstances. If you already have 1 or 2 colleagues you want to work with (not yet integrated in any work group), please indicate also their names and numbers.

All work groups registered in Fenix will receive in the near future an e-mail with instructions on how to access the assigned case-study for the simulation project work. Instructions/recommendations for the report to be submitted are available in section “Simulation project work”. Read this carefully, namely in what concerns due dates to hand in the 3 parts of the report. In due time, instructions on how to download and install the simulation software (SIMUL8) to implement the model will be provided in Fenix.

Grades on the simulation project obtained in the previous academic year (2015/16) are valid for the present academic year (but not for following years).
