Targeting minimum utility consumption in Aspen using Energy Analysis, after choosing available utilities from database. Stream segmentation for more accurate targets. Estimating heat exchangers areas and annualized capital cost. Four different methods in Aspen Energy Analyzer for designing an heat exchanger network with focus on retrofit mode and manual design procedure for generating the maximum energy recovery network (for the regions above and below the pinch).
