The next SIBD lecture, on Tuesday September the 24th, will focus on advanced aspects for the entity-association model.
Next Friday, September the 27th, there will be no theoretical lecture for the SIBD course. Students are encouraged to use this time to work on the course project, specifically on the part corresponding to entity-relationship modelling.
The lab classes scheduled for Monday the 23rd will provide an introduction to the software to be used in the labs (i.e., MySQL + PHP), and the lab classes scheduled for Monday the 30th of September will cover the entity-relationship model. Students are strongly encouraged to attend both, and students not yet registered in the lab classes should try to attend the labs on larger rooms and with less people enrolled.
The theoretical lectures will resume on Tuesday, October the 1st, with an introduction to the relational model.
