Maria Helena Caeiro is a geomodeller at Partex Oil and Gas since 2012, holding a position in the Exploration and New Ventures department, working in different seismic inversion, static modelling and reservoir characterization studies, mainly in the Middle East and Brazil. Also mentor of trainees from Petroleum Institute (Abu Dhabi, UAE) and Master Petroleum Engineering (Instituto Superior Técnico, University of Lisbon, Portugal).

Currently in the final stage of the PhD degree in Earth-Resources at Instituto Superior Técnico (University of Lisbon, Portugal), in collaboration with the Institute of Petroleum Engineering of Heriot Watt University (Scotland, UK) and with a thesis subject in Optimised History Matching. with Non-stationary Geostatistical Modelling.

MSc in Geological and Mining Engineering from Instituto Superior Técnico (University of Lisbon, Portugal, 2007). Researcher at CERENA from 2007 until 2012, with relevant work experience on reservoir characterization projects, seismic inversion, geostatistical modelling and uncertainty quantification. Author and co-author of several publications on reservoir characterization studies, seismic inversion, geostatistical modelling and optimized history matching, as well as speaker at several technical international conferences.
