New laboratory shifts

8 março 2021, 12:58 Miguel Matos

Dear students,

To keep the size of each laboratorial shift small, and ensure we can better support students in the labs, we have opened two new  shifts:
Mondays 12:30 (Alameda)
Tuesdays:  08:00 (Tagus)

Students that do have not registered yet, should register in one of those shifts.
To better balance the load, we will also allow groups to move from their existing shifts to one of those.
Groups that want to change shifts should inform us by e-mail (Profs. J. Martinho, M. Matos and P. Romano).
This will be done in a first-come first-served basis, and if demand for the new shifts is high we might have to deny some requests.

Lab. Discord

The link for the discord server to support the laboratory classes is:

https://discord.gg/JPvZHZ7HXa

When joining the server students should check the instructions in the #check-in channel.
Laborarory classes will start next week so make sure to check the discord instructions before the class.

Lab. registration

2 março 2021, 13:57 Miguel Matos

The registration of groups to Labs will be via Fénix.
It will open on March 3, at 12:00.
Students must register as a group of three.

For students that do not yet have a group, we created the shared documents below to help in the process.
This is not moderated, so use it sensibly.

Welcome

26 fevereiro 2021, 12:49 Miguel Matos

Welcome to the Highly Dependable Systems course!

As announced by IST, classes will start next week, and will be completely remote until further notice.
For theoretical classes, we will use Zoom, and for laboratory classes we will use Discord, check the "Remote Classes" section for further information.

During the first week there will be no laboratories to allow students to setup the laboratorial roups.
The laboratories will start on the week of March 8.
Further details will be provided in the next theoretical class.

Stay safe.
