User study - a few remarks

For those interested on conducting a user study please note that you will need to deliver, until February 13th, the following documents: 

- all the form documents (e.g., Informed Consent, Demographic Profile, SUS, NASA-TLX, IPQ, etc)
- user study script- a more complete report with a 'User Study' section and statistical analysis

Please send these materials in a single *.zip file to your lab lecturer via WeTransfer. 
Also, do not forget to add your group's ID to the file name.


Equipment return

For those that have in their possession any type of lab equipment (e.g., Quest, Quest 2, Pico) and are not willing/able to conduct a user study, we pledge you to return the equipment on January 27th (Friday) between 15h30 and 16:30h (i.e., during the exam period) at ... 


Alameda: Room V0.04 - Pavilhão de Civil (applies only for Groups 01, 02, 03, 04, 09, and 10)

Taguspark: Room 0-17 (applies only for Groups 05, 06, 07, and 08)

Make sure you deliver all the contents of the box (cords, power adapter, controllers, HMD, manual, sleaves, etc etc) in working conditions. 


Exam - Last Chance to Improve or Pass the Theoretical Component!

Just a gentle remainder about the exam (regular season) that will take place next week at both Alameda and Taguspark campi:


- When: January 27th at 15h30h
- Where: V0.04 (Pavilhão de Civil, Alameda) / 0-17 (Taguspark)
- students must show up in person to take the exam otherwise will score 0-points;
- bring your laptop/smartphone and power adaptors (extension cords will be provided on site)
- just like the Quizzes, the exam will be made available through Moodle
- the exam will contain 60 multiple choice questions
- the exam will last 60 minutes
- the exam will cover topics from all 14 theoretical lessons
- each question has 4 choices with only 1 correct option
- each question answered correctly is worth 0.1 points
- penalty of -0.02 points for each wrong answer
- maximum exam score of 6-points 
- minimum exam score of 0-points
- please note that this exam is the final opportunity for those to pass the theoretical component
- minimum theoretical grade required to pass the course: 2.4 in 6 points
- for those who have already passed the theoretical component via Quizzes, this exam is an opportunity to improve your grade (only the best grade counts)

Final Project Bundle submission

The submission site is now open for the final project bundle.  

Each group must submit a single *.zip file (1 per group) via Moodle (go to Week 7). 

Note that if the file is larger than 100 MB, then send to your lab lecturer the zip file via WeTransfer.


Announcements regarding the Final Project Presentation + Bundle Deadline

A couple of announcements towards the final deliverables:


(1) - Final Project presentations will be in Room F3 (Pavilhão de Informatica I, Alameda) from 9h30 - 12h30 Monday, January 16th.

(2) - the final project bundle deadline was postponed to January 15th until 23:59h
