Slides and Classes on the 27th

26 novembro 2019, 17:11 Ana Paiva

Dear students,

I've uploaded all the slides for the theoretical classes to Fenix.
Also, be aware that tomorrow, Wednesday the 27th, there will be no classes in Alameda and we will be in Tagus to support the project development. However, students that do not need the robots from there don't need to go.

I will set up some extra support classes for the project in the next few days.

Ana.

Classes this Wednesday: the 13th of November

12 novembro 2019, 22:03 Ana Paiva

Dear students,

As announced in the theoretical class, this wednesday we will have the classes in Tagus Park for you to start working with the robots.
You should take the shuttle and try to be there around 9,30.

You should go to Núcleo 7, on the 2nd floor. There is a Demo room there, and we can all meet there. Then you will be divided into groups, according to the robots that you will be using in the project.

See you tomorrow,

Ana, Samuel and Elmira

Format and Structure of the Surveys

10 novembro 2019, 21:37 Ana Paiva

Dear Students,

The papers for your topics are on Fenix, but you are not limited to those papers and can find related references by using Google Scholar (https://scholar.google.pt/). Alternatively, if you want our help with more papers, please send us an email.

The surveys should be no more than 10 pages, in one of the ACM formats (eg. the Small Standard Format Template). Students can find the format in the ACM page (http://www.acm.org/publications/proceedings-template) both in word and Latex formats.

If you use Overleaf the format can be found as a template there.

The surveys can be written in either Portuguese or English, although English is preferred.

Topics for the surveys

1 novembro 2019, 17:48 Ana Paiva

Dear students,

The topics and the papers for the surveys are now available in the page.

For you to choose one topic you should go to the doodle link that was sent to you by email and
add your name and number and choose the topic you prefer.

There are enough topics for everyone and if needed I can add some more.

Each topic has at least two or three papers for you to start, so that you can do a good survey and summary of the topic.

Don't forget that the deadline for submitting your survey is the 26th of November, and you have to register in Fenix for that project to submit it.

Hope you enjoy reading the papers, and have a nice weekend,

 Ana.
