Dear Students
This message serves the purpose to explain to you how the remote exams will be performed.
The exam dates are published in the course webpage: Exam 1: 18/06/2020 at 18:30, Exam 2: 21/07/2020 at 15:00.
You will receive a zoom link to which you should connect ten minutes before the exam hour in order to receive all the instructions.
At the exam starting time you will receive an email with problem 1 and the indication of the amount of time you have to solve it. Before the time is over you have to take a photograph or scan your solution and upload it as one pdf file to fénix at the indicated "Project" location, for example "E1-P1" for problem 1 of the first exam. Once the time for solving problem 1 is over, you will receive a second email with problem 2 and the indication of the amount of time you have to solve it. Once again, before the time is over you have to digitise your solution and upload it as one file to fénix at "E1-P2". This process is then repeated for problems 3 and 4. The total duration of the exam will be at the most 3 hours.

For this process to work seamlessly, you must verify the following:
1 - You are correctly enrolled in the course and have student access to the course webpage.
1 - You are correctly enrolled in the course and have student access to the course webpage.
2 - Your email in fénix is up to date. This is the email that we will use to send the problem questions.
3 - You have the appropriate means to create a pdf file from your solution - CamScanner App for iOS and Android is one possibility, and upload it to fénix.
Next Monday, at 17:00, we will perform a trial run to test if there are any issues with this method. You have received by email a zoom link. During this simulation exam I will send you two problems to solve and then upload to Project ET-P1 and ET-P2.
Best Regards
