Urban Planning Oral Exams

The Urban Planning oral exams (Oral 1 and Oral 2) will take place on Thursday, 9th February, from 2 to 4 p.m. at IST (room to be indicated on Fénix). Please confirm your presence by sending an email to your professor of the practical lectures by noon tomorrow.

The list of Final Marks is available here. If you want to take the Recovery written Exam on next Monday (10 a.m., room v1.10, v1.11), sign up for Fénix ("Assessment" tab) or send me a message. 
Mandatory ORAL Exams will be scheduled after the publication of the Marks of the Recovery Written Exam.

I would like to remind you of our interest in you responding to the SURVEY concerning this course of Urban Planning, which you can do here in just 5 minutes.

Recovery Exam

Students who wish to take the RECOVERY EXAM, scheduled for next Monday at 10:00 am in classrooms V1.10 and V1.11, must pre-register for the exam at Fénix.

Apresentações dos Trabalhos Práticos: 20 de janeiro/ Project Presentations: January 20th

A apresentações dos trabalhos práticos irão decorrer nos seguintes horários, na sala GA1:

  • TP01 (aulas 4ª feira 14:30 - 16:30) -  10:00 às 13:00 (excepto o grupo dos alunos do G3: Joana Franca, Tiago Baltazar, Manuel Burman e Luciano Gomez, que apresentam no período da tarde);
  • TP02 - (aulas 4ª feira 16:30 - 18:30) - 14:00 às 18:00.
Cada grupo terá 15 minutos para apresentar o seu trabalho, mais 10 minutos para a sua discussão. Todos os elementos do grupo têm de participar na apresentação. A apresentação será baseada num Poster A0 que será projectado, não sendo necessária a sua impressão.
Os elementos do trabalho (Relatório e Poster) tem de ser enviados às 09:00 do dia 20 de janeiro às respectivas docentes das aulas práticas, por email em formato pdf. Os ficheiros têm de ser identificados com o número do turno, o número do grupo e com os números dos alunos (exemplo: REL_TP01_G1_11111_22222_33333 e POSTER_TP01_G1_11111_22222_33333).

The presentations of the practical work will take place at the following schedule, in-room GA1:

  • TP01 (classes Wednesdays 14:30 - 16:30) - 10:00 to 13:00 (except for G3 students: Joana Franca, Tiago Baltazar, Manuel Burman and Luciano Gomez, who will present in the afternoon);
  • TP02 - (classes Wednesdays 16:30 - 18:30) - 14:00 to 18:00.
Each group will have 15 minutes to present their work plus 10 minutes for discussion. All members of the group must participate in the presentation. The presentation will be based on a projected A0 poster; printing it will not be necessary.
The elements of the work (Report and Poster) have to be sent by email by 09:00 am on January 20th to the respective professors of the practical classes in pdf format. The files must be identified with the shift number, group number and student numbers (example: REL_TP01_G1_11111_22222_33333 and POSTER_TP01_G1_11111_22222_33333).

Winterschool - more detailed information

Winterschool DO LUGAR À CIDADE. CONSTRUÇÃO COLECTIVA DO HABITAT. 20-25 the February 2023, intensive workshop.

IST co-organized with ISCTE, FBA and CML

Topics of identity and memory, participatory approached to public space and spaces of flow will be explored in the AUGI territory.
Programme outline: 20th problem setting by the municipality of Lisbon and meeting with stakeholders; during the mornings masterclasses and during the afternoon studio work in groups. 25th final presentation to CML politicians. 

Certificates of participation will be issued. As a full-time commitment is required, justification for missing class due to this academic activities will be handed out on request.
