Dear students,

Welcome to Advanced Separation Processes - 1st semester 2025/2026, P2.

The classes will start next Monday (10/11), including the labs.

Some Notes on Membranes (in portuguese), the Problems on Membranes (in english), and the Lab Guide (in portuguese and english) are already available at AEIST, Secção de Folhas (near football camp).

The registration in the lab groups (4 students) will take place in Fénix, Groups, from Thursday  (6/11, 11:00) until Monday (10/11, 23:59). Each group will carry out 3 lab works, i.e. it will come to the lab thrice (see Labs_planning in Sections, Labs). Groups will be identified as 2.1 - 2.6 (Mondays), 3.1 - 3.6 (Tuesdays), 5.1 - 5.6 (Thursdays) and 6.1 - 6.3 (Fridays).

Mini-reports should be delivered in paper (template in the Lab Guide at the end of each lab work (experimental results, calculations and discussion, max.: 3 pages, Times New Roman 12, 1.5 spacing) one week after the experimental work was executed. 

A laptop per group is recommended and a pen-drive is required to save ED1 data.

Students approved in the labs in previous years do not need to repeat them, except for grades improvement.
