Evaluation by project (100%). The project, developed by groups of 3 students, consists of the definition and modelling of a database, and its implementation in MySQL, as well as the development of an application in C++ (or other object-oriented language), acting as an interface between an end-user and the database. Oral presentation of all projects. 

Important dates:
  • 6th November: Deadline for submission of project theme and database definition and E-R schema 
  • 7th November: Assignment of project schemas for peer-review (each group reviews 2 other project schemas)
  • 12th November: Deadline for project schema peer-reviews submission
  • 13th November and 15th November (during classes): E-R schemas presentation and discussion
  • 15th January: Project submission deadline
  • 22rd to 24th January (date to be defined): Project oral presentation (pitch)
