The grading criteria are broken down as follows:

• 20% - MAP10: the average of the 3 best grades of the weekly 10-min quizzes. If the average grade of the quizzes is less than the final exam grade, the final exam grade will be used instead.
• 40% - L: the average grade of 3 lab assignments, conducted in teams of 2 students (minimum average grade of 7.50/20.00).
• 40% - E: final exam grade (minimum grade of 7.50/20.00).

The average grades of MAP10 and L will be rounded to 2 decimal places.

Formula: Final=max(0.2 MAP10 + 0.4 L + 0.4 E, 0.4 L + 0.6 E)

Each group member may have a penalty for missing lab sessions. The penalty depends on the number of missed sessions:

• 1 missed session: no penalty
  
• 2 missed sessions: 5% penalty
  
• 3 missed sessions: 10% penalty
  
• 4 missed sessions: 25% penalty
  
• 5 missed sessions: 50% penalty
  
• 6 missed sessions or more: 100% penalty
