 A avaliação de PEQ I centra-se na elaboração da primeira parte de um Projecto de Indústria Química. O Projecto, realizado por um grupo de 4 alunos, inclui a Análise de Mercado, a fixação da capacidade da fábrica, a selecção da tecnologia de fabrico e a escolha da localização da nova unidade.A nota final de cada aluno resultará da ponderação de duas componentes: 1) Nota atribuída pelo Professor Orientador do trabalho - peso de 60% na nota final: esta nota corresponde à avaliação contínua do desempenho de cada elemento do grupo ao longo do semestre, em aspectos tais como: • aplicação eficaz dos novos conceitos leccionados na disciplina e de outros indispensáveis à realização desta primeira parte do projecto; • iniciativa e pro-actividade na resolução de problemas; • contribuição para o trabalho realizado pelo grupo; • capacidade analítica e de síntese • qualidade do relatório apresentado  2) Nota atribuída pelo Professor responsável da disciplina (ou outro docente da cadeira com quem esta responsabilidade seja partilhada) - peso de 40% na nota final: esta nota resultará da avaliação dos alunos nos seguintes aspectos: • apresentação do relatório focada nos aspectos relevantes do trabalho realizado; • desempenho na discussão individual de questões sobre o relatório; • qualidade do relatório apresentado, quando comparado com os relatórios dos restantes grupos.

 The evaluation of PEQ I focus on the development of the first part of a project of chemical industry. The project, conducted by a group of 4 students, includes Market Analysis, the fixation of unit capacity, the selection of production technology and the choice of the unit location. The final score for each student will depend on two components: 1) Score assigned by Professor Advisor - 60% of the final grade. This rating corresponds to the continuous evaluation of the performance of each member of the group during the semester, in aspects such as: • Effective application of new concepts taught in the discipline and other essential to elaborate this project; • Initiative and proactive problem solving; • Contribution to the work of the group; • Analytical skills and synthesis • Quality of the report; • Rating of the presentation and discussion of the report, at the end of the semester. 2) Score assigned by the Head of the discipline (or other Professor with whom this responsibility is shared) - 40% of the final grade. This classification result of student assessment in the following aspects: • Presentation of the report, focused on the relevant aspects of the work; • Performance in the individual discussion of questions about the report; • Quality of the presented reports, by comparison with the reports of the other groups.
