 Regime de funcionamento

A UC de Processamento Digital de Sinais (PDS) tem três tipos de aulas (aulas teóricas, de problemas e de laboratório). Estas aulas estão indicadas, semanalmente, no horário da UC. 

As aulas teóricas, de problemas e de laboratório iniciam-se em regime remoto síncrono o que quer dizer que funcionarão via Zoom, no intervalo previsto no horário.

Aulas de laboratório

Os turnos de laboratório têm uma capacidade máxima de 30, alunos organizados em 15 grupos de 2 alunos. A participação dos alunos nas aulas de laboratório é obrigatória e é um elemento de avaliação, mesmo quando é feita de forma remota.

Cada grupo deve ter um computador próprio com Matlab onde deve realizar os trabalhos de laboratório. O Matlab pode ser instalado com as licenças de campus do IST.

A inscrição dos grupos em cada turno será feita através do fenix, em data a combinar.

Plano B

 Depois da Páscoa, o regime de funcionamento dos laboratórios será revisto a nível do IST e poderá passar a presencial, o que será feito através da presença física de um representante de cada grupo em cada aula de laboratório.

Para além dos livros de texto indicados, disponibilizam-se na página de web os seguintes materiais:

 - slides das aulas teóricas

 - notas teóricas;

 - séries de problemas;

 - trabalhos de laboratório.

Avaliação

A avaliação dos estudantes será feita através de exame final (Junho), com peso de 70%, combinado com nota de laboratório, com peso de 30%. A nota de laboratório inclui o relatório de um dos trabalhos e a avaliação contínua feita pelo professor.

Operating regime 

The Digital Signal Processing course has three types of classes (theoretical, problem and laboratory classes). The slots associated to these classes are indicated at the course schedule.

Theoretical, problem and laboratory classes are delivered in a synchronous remote regime, which means that they will work via Zoom, at the slots specified in the schedule.

Laboratory classes

Laboratory shifts have a maximum capacity of 30 students, organized in 15 groups of 2 students. The participation of students in laboratory classes is mandatory and is an element of evaluation, even when it is done remotely.

Each group must have its own computer with Matlab. Matlab can be installed with IST campus license.

The registration of groups in each shift will be done through the fenix, on a date to be agreed.

Plan B

After Easter, the operating regime of the laboratories will be reviewed at IST level and may pass in person, which will be done through the physical presence of a representative of each group in each laboratory session.

 - laboratory works.

Assessment

The evaluation of students will be made through a final exam (June), with a weight of 70%, combined with a laboratory grade, with a weight of 30%. The laboratory note includes the report of one of the lab works and the continuous assessment made by the teacher.
