Final grades and farewell message

The final grades have been submitted today. Congratulations to everyone who successfully completed O&L!
I hope the course content will prove useful in your future academic or professional paths. If you are interested in pursuing a research placement, PIC2, or an MSc thesis in areas such as ultrashort laser pulses, ultrafast science, laser systems, or related topics, please feel free to contact me or Prof. Hugo.

Provisional final grades published

The provisional final grades have now been published. Please review your results and inform me if you notice any issues.
Students who did not pass the written examination: your project grades will remain valid for the next two academic years.
The final grades will be submitted to the Graduate Office on Monday, February 16th.
Appeal Season: Exam & MAP Recovery - grades published (DATE CORRECTED)

The grades for the Exam (Appeal Season) and Recovery MAPs have now been published, together with a proposed solution – see section MAPs and Exams.
You may revise your answers (email appointment required) at the following time: Monday, Feb. 20, 2026, Friday Feb 13, 16:00, at IST.
Exam Appeal Season

Here are the rooms for the Appeal Season exam dates:
- Wednesday Feb 04, 15:30 - Room F2
- Thursday Feb 05, 10:30 - Meeting Room, Physics Dept (next to the Physics Dept secretary)
Exam – Appeal Season: NEW DATE (edited)

Following requests from some of you to change the date of next week’s exam due to a clash with exams from other courses, the exam date has been moved to the previous day. Please note the new date and time:
There will be two exam dates:
Wednesday, Feb 04 - 15:30
Thursday, Feb 05 - 10:30
The instructions for the Exam / MAP recovery options are identical to those of the Normal Season.
