Cancellation of the exam

Because no student either registered for the exam of today (Sep 7) or emailed me with the intention of doing the exam, the exam is therefore cancelled.

Dear all, 

The exam on September 7 (in Portuguese: "Exame de Época Extraordinária") is done in presence (*not online*) in the room E1.

The duration of the exam is 2 (two) hours: it starts at 18h00 and ends at 20h00.

Finally, this exam is a closed-book exam (in Portuguese: "exame sem qualquer tipo de consulta.")In the exam, you can use an electronic calculator that is simple, that is, a calculator that cannot display graphs of functions.

On the exam of July 30

Dear all, 


The exam on July 30 is done in presence (*not online*) in the room V1.14.

The duration of the exam is 2 (two) hours: it starts at 18h30 and ends at 20h30.

Final grades

Dear students,


I hope you and your families are doing well.

The grades of exam 2 (final grades) were released. Please check the section "Grades of exam 2" in the Fénix course webpage.

In case you want to review your exam (in Portuguese: "revisão de provas"):
a) send us an email;
b) you'll receive a schedule for a ZOOM meeting (for Monday or Tuesday);
c) during that ZOOM meeting, you'll discuss your exam with us, face to face. The duration of the ZOOM meeting is limited (the duration will depend on the number of requests that we have to accommodate). 

As a final word, we would like to wish you all the best for your future. Although the pandemic didn't allow us to interact in person, we enjoyed knowing you better during the project discussions.

Links for your ZOOM room

Dear students,


I've uploaded a file that indicates which ZOOM link you should join, according to your student number: please see the file in section "ZOOM rooms for Exam 2."

IMPORTANT: You should join your ZOOM room from 11h15 to 11h30; when joining, you'll be put in a waiting room, and the host will then give you access.

The exam is clear enough, but it might happen that you have a question of interpretation in some problem. 
If, during the exam, you have such a question:
- ask the question to the host of your ZOOM room, by using the chat but in private (so the question is visible only to the host, not to all other participants);
- the host of the room will propagate the question to me, and you'll get an answer from me  through the chat (in private).
